I’m excited to share my journey with you and offer you the opportunity to achieve the same incredible results I’ve experienced with the support of my dedicated team.
In November 2013, I moved to Lake Oconee and took on the role of Membership Manager at the local Chamber of Commerce. There, I quickly fell in love with the community and its local businesses, and dedicated myself to teaching them how to optimize their online presence and create engaging networking events. These experiences fueled my passion for community building.
That's when I decided to launch **Lake Oconee Life**—the hub of Lake Oconee. This platform became the singular destination where our three neighboring communities could come together as one. I started by adding events to the calendar, creating blog posts about summer camps, and sharing this valuable information through email. Interestingly, I became known as the "email lady" and the "summer camp lady" long before Lake Oconee Life became a household name.
Today, I am proud to say that we have transformed Lake Oconee Life into a thriving business that supports numerous local businesses in our community. It has become the online gateway to Lake Oconee, even for those considering moving to our area. Our success has garnered interest in franchising our approach, both locally and across the west coast.
